Speaking from the Heart

I just got another "Mean Mommy Award", because I did not allow my kids to take an early winter vacation. My daughter finished her last assignment on Monday. On the other hand, my son dragged on with his schoolwork thru Wednesday. He was avoiding algebra, and was hoping that I would "cave in". When he realized that I wasn't going to change my mind, he worked on his algebra assignment. As of 3:00 today, our school is close for the month of December.
