Speaking from the Heart

This is our 3rd week of homeschooling. We're gradually finishing up work from previous year. I am focusing on Mark's upcoming PSAT in October, and I'm working on writing skills with Katherine. Sometimes I regret not doing a unit study with our friends this school year, but I believe I need to spend more one-on-one with Mark and Katherine. Even though the families are not getting together for a study, we are getting together once a month for fellowship.

We gathered at Karen's house today for a pool party and lots of good food. It was nice to catch up on each other's lifes, while the kids swam. We kept an eye on them from the breakfast nook. We weren't concerned about their mischievious behavior, because Katherine, our private investigator kept her ears open. A dollar from Karen was a good incentive for our private eye.
