Prince Charming's Aunt Frances went home to be with Jesus on December 22, 2007. Because we weren't able to attend the annual Thanksgiving reunion, I regret that I didn't get a chance to say "good bye".

When I saw Aunt Frances and Uncle Tom together, I am reminded of Mark Shultzs' song Walking Her Home. For sixty four plus years, they were never apart. It is going to be hard for Uncle Tom, because he had lost his best friend.

Our time apart is short, compare to our time together in the LORD's house.

Every year, our homeschool small group gets together and puts on the story of Jesus' birth at a local park. In addition to the skit, we deliver homemade ornaments and sing to residents at a local nursing home.

Although I am with my children twenty four hours a day, I don't think I spend enough time with them. I am talking about quality time, rather than quantity time. If tomorrow never comes, will they know how much I love them? I want to leave a legacy. How will

they remember me? Nicole Noredeman's Legacy
would have been perfect for this slideshow. Realizing that I do not have a copy of the song, I decided to use Garth Brookes' "If Tomorrow Never Comes" instead. Here's my version: Sometimes late at night I watch them sleeping They're lost in their peaceful dreams I walk to my bedroom in the dark And the thought crosses my mind If I never wake up in the morning Would they ever doubt the way I feel About them in my heart. If tomorrow never comes Will they know how much I loved them Did I try in every way to show them very day That they are my precious gifts from above And if my time on earth were through And they must face the world without me Is the love I gave them in the past Gonna be enough to last If tomorrow never comes. 'Cause I've lost loved ones in my life Who never knew how much I loved them Now I live with the regret That my true feelings for them never revealed So I made a promise to myself To say each day how much my kids means to me To avoid that circumstance Where there's no second chance to tell them how I feel. If tomorrow never comes Will they know how much I loved them Did I try in every way to show them every day That they're my precious gifts from above And if my time on earth were through And they must face the world without me Is the love I gave them in the past Gonna be enough to last If tomorrow never comes. So tell that someone that you love Just what's you're thinking of If tomorrow never comes.

Laura Lee's 100th post is around the corner; she wants to do a giveaway. In order to qualify for the drawing, she asks us to give a testimony about a song that deeply changed the way we live. Where were we when we sang it? Did it sink in right at the time or later? What happened in our lifes as a result? How many times had we sung the song before?

I became a Christian when I was 12 years old. Not until recently, I thought that by accepting Christ and being good, I will get to heaven. Thanks to my church, I now know that there is more to that. As my faith grows, the thought of leaving my unsaved friends and loved ones behind saddens me. During my morning cycling and one-on-one time with our Father, I was trying to think of ways can become a better witness to them, when "What If" by Nicole Nordeman came on my Ipod.

What if you're right?
And he was just another nice guy
What if you'reright?
What if it's true?
They say the cross will only make a fool of you
And what if it's true?

What if he takes his place in history
With all the prophets and the kings
Who taught us love and came in peace
But then the story ends
What then?

But what if you're wrong?
What if there's more?
What if there's hope you never dreamed of hoping for?
What if you jump?
And just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you by surprise?
What if He's more than enough?
What if it's love?

What if you dig
Way down deeper than your simple-minded friends
What if you dig?
What if you find
A thousand more unanswered questions down inside
That's all you find?

What if you pick apart the logic
And begin to poke the holes
What if the crown of thorns is no more
Than folklore that must be told and retold?

You've been running as fast as you can
You've been looking for a place you can land for so long
But what if you?re wrong?

I've heard this song many times before, but I never understood the message. However, on this day, the song laid heavy on my heart. As I listened to it, I realize that God is telling me that I have to stand firm on my beliefs, before I can witness to friends and families.

Hannah's Wacky Party

Dear Daughter was invited to an unforgettable birthday party. The party started at 10:08 and did not end until 8:00 P.M. Hannah's mom planned a neighborhood scavenger hunt. Each group was given a lists. The party members had to go around the neighborhoood asking for items that were on their lists.

Besides playing many games through out the day, the guests had a 3 course(mystery) meal. From a menu, each child must choose his eating utensils, drinks, and food. The menu was in code; therefore, the kids did not know what they were getting until their meals were served. Katherine chose a wooden straw (stick) for her utensil. Her first course meal consisted of cold cow (ice cream), and elbow grease (macroni & cheese). Because she didn't have a utensil to eat the ice cream, she had to "lap" them up.

Around 7:30, the guests were ready to go home with their fun-filled goodies and pictures of themselves with the birthday girl.

Since the beginning of our homeschooling journey, we've been in the same playgroup. Some of these kids have known each other since their todler years.
